I have been having really bad sinus drainage. Is this normal?

Last night I experienced something really disguisting. I've been suffering from a headache on one side of my head, right above my left eye all the way to the top of my head. Sometimes the pains are sharp. Yesterday, I suddenly felt wet above my lip then it ran down on my shirt before I could catch it. At first, I thought my nose was bleeding because it was coming out like water and was uncontrollable. It actually was thin and clear like water, too. I tried sniffing and holding my head back until I got to the washroom, but that didn't help. My nasal pages were extremely clear and there was no congestion so sniffing actually made it hurt. It happened again early this morning while I was still in bed. I turned over and had to jump up because it immediately started running all over everything. I soaked a hand full of kleenex. One side of my face along with my head is in pain. Is this normal? What should I do? I have also been feeling nauseous.

Why don't I ever hear Conservatives spouting off about "the definition of war" like they do with marriage?

Well, the president has the power to move troops for a period of time before congress can declare war or force him to withdraw... they did nothing which might as well have been declaring war. But all this is a mute point, considering it is all contained within the governemnt. With marriage, it is the definition of the state vs the definition of religious institutions. The government cannot infringe upon the rights of religion... hence the government cannot legalize gay marriage, as it would infringe on these rights... not parallel examples, deary.

My elderly mother (God bless her very soon to be departed soul) is infirm, virtually blind, bedridden and in acute pain. She no longer wants to live but being a devout Christian refuses to commit suicide. I can only see it as an act of mercy to end her suffering. This way my mother gets the release she craves and (as a bonus) gets to meet her maker, the health service is spared the expense of treating her and I get the inheritance before I'm too old to really enjoy it. What to do AFTER severe constipation?

Went to ER in agony 4 days of ping nothing and after 1 enema, a HUGE enema (couldn't keep either in) and a drinkable laxative which they swore would work, two days later a little bit slimed out. After completing over 120 credits, including 5 of her courses with A- or B+, a professor said to me, "if you drop that course, I don't have confidence to write you the letter of recommendation." I completed the course with A. All the while, I kept telling her how risky it was for me to be burdened with an extra course at the term that was likely to be my only opportunity to apply to graduate school for actually attending it. After all, she didn't write the letter. Some guy said to me that the professor wanted to protect her reputation by not writing me the letter. I don’t think that was the case here. She had written a letter to a US Consulate General in Japan to recommend me for student visa. It was probably because I questioned her common senses: I asked her if she knew admissions process, or precisely international admission process, and to be honest with me if not because she could be misleading me. Her umptions on graduate school often contradicted what I was actually told by them: in many liberal arts schools, financial aids were generally unavailable to incoming international graduate students who pursued only mater’s degrees. Financially, I was at my limit, but she was telling me to take on more courses. How can you go to graduate school if your bank account is empty and loan is not an option? Furthermore, considering the term is likely to be my only opportunity to apply to graduate school for actually attending it, if I don’t get in a graduate school, what is the point of all those undergraduate years? Racial prejudice, not racial discrimination, might have played a role too. I was a small, immature-looking guy who spoke English with a very heavy Japanese accent. Because of these features, I might have impressed her as academically immature no matter how well I did in a course. I was a double major and completed over 140 credits at the time of graduation. Well I have done quite a bit of studying on Beethoven and some on Mozart. The most famous might be Beethoven's 5th Symphony. I mean a lot of people may could tell you want symphony it is and who wrote it by just the first four bars. hey maria, what you need to do is look for some signs to determine if the feelings are mutual. in order to get any clues, ask him questions. see how fast he responds and if he responds quickly , its a good sign. if you catch him staring at you a couple of times that means there are other times where he is staring at you and you dont know it!! which then means he likes you too. I wouldnt resort just yet to prong collars and choke chains (sorry I think they are overused and used as a replacement for training, despite the TD's I will get...Ive worked with big dogs my whole life, some with various aggression issues, and have never needed any of that so I find it odd that people use them as often as they do). I do somewhat agree with another poster who suggested that it may not be the right time to bring a new dog into the house as it can be really hard on older dogs but if you are willing to work at it then keep up what you are doing, build up the respect factor (no food or going outside or coming inside etc without doing something like a sit first), keep the new dog leashed in the house for quick corrections and if you are at a loss, find a dog trainer in your area who is comfortable with aggression issues (not just obedience) and have one or two sessions so her can observe and offer advice.

Any way to change the door chime/alarm in a 94 civic?

If you remove the buzzer and carefully drive a screw into it from the top. You must do this while it's making noise. Once the screw touches the internal buzzer, it will muffle it. Another cool thing is to get a small bell or wind chime and tie it to the internal buzzer to get a ringing sound. These type of modifications may not be very reliable and are very difficult to accomplish due to the small parts involved. Worse case is you will damage the buzzer and need to buy another one... there are many on the market to give nice tones.

ok so I'm 21 years old and a college student...I have the biggest internal debate going on with myself. I LOVE fashion...i mean the Balenciaga's, the Yves Saint Laurent's, the Marni's of the world however I cant neccessarily afford it. I read vogue, elle, and harper's bazaar religiously. I buy as much as I can off ebay, but still end up spending what most would think is a considerable amount of money. If you make 2990, a loan officer COULD give you a loan on total debt of 1500 or so. 330 student loan + 300 car deducted from 1500 leaves 870 for a house payment. The remaining bills; cable utilities, insurance , groceries etc... are umes to be paid from the other 50%. If you take home 2300 of your 2990, and spend 1500 on bortgage, car payment etc.. that leaves 800 to pay your other bills. If this leaves you money to live on, then go for it. If not consider keeping your old car and just getting the house.

You need to go and see a gynecologist as soon as possible. Yes a hysterectomy would fix your problem but until a doctor does other things first you probably won't be able to get one. There are quite a few things that can be done, medicines for example. There is also a procedure where they install a "balloon" to help with the periods and the bleeding. Talk to your doctor and see what he or she recommends.

Meat by-products aren't bad, but they certainly aren't the most nutritious part of the animal either. Chicken feet and stuff aren't bad for your dog, but they just don't provide the protein and fat that actual meat does. Meat meal quite likely contains by-product since it's basically just a ground up animal, bones and all, which is fine, but there's MEAT there, too. It may not be the choiciest slices of meat, but it's better than none, which is what straight by-product pretty much is.

Ex says he should take child care credit because he pays child support, but I pay the daycare bill-ALWAYS?

Who is right? I pay the daycare for both kids and receive the 1099. I signed the form 8332 but that only gives him the exemption for ONE child. I took the daycare credit for BOTH kids since not only do I pay it but I also run $5000 thru my cafeteria plan at work. How do I repair a small hole in my shingled roof?

I went on the roof to do a routine inspection, and found that there was a small hole (about 3/4 inch to an inch) going through 2 (overlapped) shingles, and I believe it went through the roof. A Squishy Lump On My Dog's Tail?

Why is the word "******" offensive?

I'm white and I like black people. I don't understand how it's offensive. The only answer that i can come across is that a long time ago someone meant it to be offensive. One of the issues with illegal immigration is that American farmers pay wages so low that only illegal immigrants will work for them. Lots of the people who think that people ought to pay a higher "living wage" (whatever that means since many of these illegal immigrants could stay here for years and not only live on that wage but wire money back home every few months). So how about people set up some sort of certification programs and Co-Op where all the farmers who supply their crops have to pay an agree upon "living wage" and certify (with inspections) that they hire only Americans or legal workers. Then we'll see how the prices of the food will work out since most farmers are making a very slim profit margin already so the prices are of course going to p to the consumers.

Anyway, given these options, I'd choose the 8-inch reflector because of its larger aperture and shorter focal length. Even so, I'd probably need to use a stepladder to get to the eyepiece. Is the problem with the fuel pump?

First off shakiness while driving could be caused by transmission slippage so check your transmission fluid and put some in if needed. The engine not running right could be the ignition coil, if the timing isn't right or slightly off it would cause the rough ride and not running right. If a wire or something going to the ignition coil is slowly loosening it would explain why your father's caveman hammer hitting technique worked, it simply reconnected the wire. Maybe check the engine mounts too to see if their loose, that would cause shaking in the car too. It could also be the fuel pump, if it's not getting enough fuel pressure in the injectors then it would run but very rough, the garage should be able to test the fuel pump pressure and tell your weather it's good or bad, if it's good then you don't need one, if it's bad then you may need a new one, or check for leaks in the fuel lines.

I am very scared of my horse right now. He use to go whenever I asked, but now he literally will not move. He will go toward his buddy (I put him in a little corral so he won't distract) but nooooooo, when I move the opposite direction, he will not budge. The worst part is if I just squeeze him normally, he'll back up. I do it again- a hard buck! He doesn't do it ten times in a row like a rodeo, but he will do a buck. So I try about 3 times and he just repeats. After that I just dismount so I don't put myself in potential danger. Also, if lounging (IDK how to spell it) the answer, how do I lounge? First, I am going to share what he discussed in regard to the Bush Administration, 9/11 and Iraq and then I will share his predictions for the next attack on the U.S. He predicted the London subway bombing on the Bill O'Reilly show on Fox News stating publicly that it would happen within a week - O'Reilly laughed and mocked him saying that in a week he wanted him back on the show and unfortunately, within a week the terrorist attack occurred. Juval Aviv gave intelligence (via what he had gathered in Israel and the Middle East) to the Bush Administration about 9/11 a month before it occurred. His report specifically said they would use planes as bombs and target high profile buildings and monuments. The Administration ridiculed him and refused to respond. Congress has since hired him as a security consultant - but still the Administration does not listen to him. He didn't agree with going into Iraq - said it didn't make sense if we wanted terrorists responsible for 9/11 (and also he believes in Golda Meir's approach which was to bring justice to the terrorists but do not take down civilians - killing civilians only creates more terrorists - but similar to Bush, Israel's subsequent leaders were not as insightful as Golda Meir) - however, when we did decide to invade Iraq we should have learned from Israel's past mistakes. He very articulately stated that Israel's greatest mistake against their war on terror was to invade the West Bank and Gaza and stay there... He said they should have done the proven anti-terrorist strategy which was "Hit and Leave" instead of "Hit and Stay." Now we are stuck in Iraq and it is worse than Vietnam - Iraq is the U.S.'s West Bank/ Gaza. He doesn't think we will ever be able to truly leave because even when we are able to pull our troops back we will still have to go back regularly which will keep us quagmired. We should have hit hard and left immediately. Now for the scary stuff.... He predicts the next attack on the U.S. Is coming within the next few months. Forget hijacking airplanes because he says terrorists will NEVER try and hijack a plane again as the people on the plane will not go down quietly. Aviv believes our airport security is a joke- we are being reactionary versus looking at strategies that are effective. 1) our machines are outdated. They look for metal and the new explosives are made of plastic 2) He talked about how some idiot tried to light his shoe on fire - we now have to take off our shoes, a group of idiots tried to bring aboard liquid explosives - now we can't bring liquids on board. He is waiting for some suicidal maniac to pour liquid explosive on their underwear and light up in a plane or in the terminal and then we will all have to travel naked! 3) We only focus on security when people are heading to the gates, he says that if a terrorist attack targets airports in the future, they will target busy times and on the front end when people are checking in. It would be easy for someone to take two suitcases of explosives, walk up to a busy check-in line, ask a person next to them to watch their bags for a minute while they run to the restroom or get a drink and then detonate the bags BEFORE security even gets involved. Israel checks bags before people can enter the airport. Now, back to his predictions: He says the next attack will come in a few months and will involve suicide bombers and non-suicide bombers in places that people congregate: Disneyland, Las Vegas, Big Cities (NY, SFO, Chicago, etc...) and there it will be shopping malls, subways in rush hour, train stations, casinos, etc.. As well as rural America (Wyoming, Montana, etc...). The attack will be simultaneous detonations around the country (they like big impact) 5-8 cities including rural areas. They won't need to use suicide bombers because at largely populated places like the MGM Grand in Vegas - they can simply valet park! He says this is well known in intelligence circles but our government does not want to alarm Americans. However, he also said that the US will attack Iran and Syria before Bush leaves office. In addition, since we don't have enough troops The US will likely use small, strategic nuclear weapons regardless that the headlines the next day will read "US Nukes Islamic World" and the world will be a different place to such an extent that global warming will be irrelevant. He travels regularly to the Middle East and he knows his stuff. On a good note - he says we don't have to worry about being nuked - he says the terrorists who want to destroy America will not use sophisticated weapons - they like suicide as the frontline approach. He also says the next level of terrorists will not be coming from abroad, but will be homegrown - having attended our schools and universities - but will have traveled frequently back and forth to the Middle East. They will know and understand Americans but we won't understand them - we still only have a handful of Arabic and Farsi speaking people in our intelligence networks and we need that to change he said... What can we do? From an intelligence perspective he says the U.S. needs to stop relying on satellites and technology for intelligence but follow Israel, Ireland and England's example of human intelligence both from an infiltration perspective as well as trust citizens to help. We need to engage and educate ourselves as citizens but our government treats us like babies and thinks we can't handle it and will panic. He did a test for Congress recently putting an empty briefcase in 5 major spots in 5 US cities and not one person called 911 or sought a policeman to check it out. In fact, in Chicago - someone tried to steal it! In Israel an unattended bag or package would be reported in seconds with a citizen shouting "Unattended Bag" and the area cleared slowly, calmly and immediately by the people themselves. Unfortunately, we haven't hurt enough yet for us to be that concerned.... He also discussed how many children were in preschool and kindergarten after 9/11 without parents to pick them up and the schools did not have a plan. Do you have a plan with your kids, schools and families if you cannot reach each other by phone? If you cannot return to your house? If you cannot get to your child's school - do they know what to do? We should all have a plan. He said that our government's plan after the next attack is to immediately cut-off EVERYONE's ability to use their telephone, cell phone, blackberry because they don't want terrorists to be able to talk to one another - do you have a plan if you cannot communicate directly with those that you love? Last week the Today Show began with a segment that Al Qaeda was resurfacing - the same kind of action on the Pakistani border occurred before 9/11... It is scary, but we do not have panic, we just need to be aware.... Unfortunately, the current Administration has not been helpful and we can not change things until 2008. Ok, so 3 years ago my husband and I broke a lease with an apartment complex because we had just had a baby and I was in the living room feeding her when all of the sudden gun shots are flying right outside of our window. We made a statement to the police because we saw who it was that did this (our downstairs neighbors children) Anyways, so we ended up breaking our lease a couple weeks later when we recieved a newsletter stating that no crimes had been committed. We tried to make arrangements but were unsuccessful and the apartment complex did not want to work with us. We only had 2 months left on our lease, then when I checked my credit report there was a balance of 5,000 from procollect. No letter stating why they charged so much. So does anyone have any suggestions? Would this be a successful dispute or what do I need to do to get this off my credit. I will settle if I have to but I dont want to at all. Why is the Miller welder voltage dropping and increasing during weld?

Welding .375 thick material with .035 wire. Suggested voltage and wire speed is 19.0 and 310 by Miller. Lately during welding voltage will increase or decrease rapidly causing the welding process to snap crackle and pop. I have been welding for a few years and am aware of the settings and how metal heats and you must adjust as you go, but I have never had a problem like this. Does anyone know why this happens? Voltage will drop sometimes down to 16.0 which is a drastic drop in the middle of welding.
