Help!France-U.K.Paris-Londron?…

I wish to visit my friend who lives in bria,England this spring holiday.Im living in Besancon,France.Im looking for the most practical or possibly an affordable way to get thr.Can someone help me out?Is it cheaper for me to get a plane from Paris to London then travel to bria wif a local transport.Or would it be better if I get a plane direct from Bale to Carlisle?Or how?Please...help
