I have been having really bad sinus drainage. Is this normal?

Last night I experienced something really disguisting. I've been suffering from a headache on one side of my head, right above my left eye all the way to the top of my head. Sometimes the pains are sharp. Yesterday, I suddenly felt wet above my lip then it ran down on my shirt before I could catch it. At first, I thought my nose was bleeding because it was coming out like water and was uncontrollable. It actually was thin and clear like water, too. I tried sniffing and holding my head back until I got to the washroom, but that didn't help. My nasal pages were extremely clear and there was no congestion so sniffing actually made it hurt. It happened again early this morning while I was still in bed. I turned over and had to jump up because it immediately started running all over everything. I soaked a hand full of kleenex. One side of my face along with my head is in pain. Is this normal? What should I do? I have also been feeling nauseous.
