Are there small hairs deep inside our ear cs?

I was just wondering if one of the hairs gets too long in there wont it cause a person to hear it moving around? Asking because I have pulled hair out of my ear that i could hear, that was over an inch long and I thought it was a piece of my dogs hair, then it happened again and i thought it's too coincidental and that maybe it's a "mutant hair".
