What are some really helpful life tips?

In most cases in life, if you wait for something good to happen, it won't. You basically have to go out and make good things happen for yourself. Good things do come easy for some, very easy and many times if you compare your life to those for whom things come easy you'll get discouraged. All those people who keep preaching about setting goals and having things your aiming at to achieve in life; they're right. All those people who preach about never, never, never, never, ever, ever giving up. . . . they're right too.
