Does apenas llegaron means they just got here in spanish and la piedra esta pesada mean rock is heavy?
apenas llegaron means barelt got here. They just got here, is ellos llegaron ahora. La piedra estas pesada means the rock is heavy. If you was lifting a heavy rock you would say la piedra estas (muy) OR (bastante) pesada.
