Design,working,diag/pict(if possible) of the Baylis Clockwork Generator?

I need info on the Baylis Clockwork Generator commonly used for powering Radios, torches etc. when conventional power sources like batteries are not an option because of the replacement cost of the batttery- developed with African Countries (underdeveloped countries in general) in mind, developed by a British Inventor. Couldn't find with initial searches on google and wikipedia.
